- All companies and/or individuals intending to grow, buy or process macadamia nuts during the year 2022 which begins from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022 are required to register with the Agricultural Marketing Authority by 31 January 2022. Late registration will attract a penalty. The categories of institutions and/or individuals that are required to register are listed below

- Buyers
- Processors
- All registrations are now done online at ama.co.zw
- Farmers can also register at our Mutare regional, No 80 Corner 2nd Street/5th Avenue, Old Christian Care, Mutare. Alternatively, get in touch with AMA Manicaland Province regional officer on mobile number 0773490225
- Growers of macadamia nuts should also register with the Authority so that they can be added on to the growers’ database to facilitate development of market linkages for orderly marketing of produce.
- Growers should sell their produce only to licensed buyers.
- NB: Registration of growers, buyers or processors of macadamia nuts is in accordance with the provisions of the Agricultural Marketing Authority Act CAP 18:24 and Statutory Instrument 138 of 2019.
